2 Arrested For 'Smash And Grab' Burglaries In Gloucester County
DEPTFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ (CBS) – Police in Gloucester County have announced the arrest of two suspects believe responsible for two "smash and grab" burglaries.
Thirty-five-year-old Earnest Carr, of Erial, and 26-year-old Christopher Pate, of Deptford, were arrested for the burglaries, which occurred at the Deptford Ulta on Oct. 2 and the Bed, Bath & Beyond on Oct. 3.
Both men were charged with multiple counts of Burglary, Theft and Criminal Mischief and were being held in Salem County Jail in lieu of $50,000 full cash bail.
Approximately $1,400 worth of stolen merchandise was returned to the stores.
