1 Dead In Multi-Vehicle Crash In Upper Darby
UPPER DARBY, Pa., (CBS) – One person is dead following a multi-vehicle accident in Delaware County Monday afternoon.
The incident happened at about 2:30 p.m. along Township Line Road (Route 1) near Pilgrim Lane in the Drexel Hill section of Upper Darby.
Chopper 3 HD was over the scene as police and rescue crews responded to the crash involving three vehicles.
Authorities say one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another person was taken to the hospital. The victim's condition is unknown at this time.
A portion of Township Line Road was shut down for about three hours as police investigated the accident scene.
Township Line Road was reopened at about 5:15 p.m. Monday night.
