1 Dead, 2 Injured In North Philly Triple Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating a triple shooting that left one person dead and two others injured.

It happened around 2:30 pm at the 3200 block of East Street.

Police say a 46-year-old man was shot once in the chest and was taken to Temple Hospital. He was pronounced dead just before 3 pm.

Police say a 33-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the back and was also taken to Temple Hospital where he is in critical condition.

A 59-year-old man was shot once in the left arm and twice in the left side of his chest, according to police. He was taken to Temple Hospital in stable condition.

Authorities describe the suspect as a black male wearing a white tee-shirt and blue shorts. He is armed with a rifle.
