(CBS) Zsa Zsa Gabor and Prince Frederic von Anhalt marked their 25th anniversary on Sunday with a party celebrating their marriage.

The party, which took place at the couple's Bel Air home, reportedly drew guests including comedian Phyllis Dyler, Quincy Jones, Robert Blake and Frank Stallone.

In a video posted on his Facebook page, the 68-year-old von Anhalt said that people have questioned why he would throw a party for his wife, who has been in failing health.

"People attack me for this and say, 'How can you do it for a sick woman?'" he said.

"Look," he added, "my wife is 94 years old. She should have everything she wants and should have everything large. This big party is not for the guests, not for the media, not for me - this big party is for Zsa Zsa."

Von Anhalt said in the video that Gabor had her hair and makeup done for the party, and wore her favorite pink dress and a tiara. She watched the event from her bed, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Last month, von Anhalt paid a reported $68,000 for a billboard to be put up on Sunset Boulevard marking the couple's anniversary.

Gabor and von Anhalt married on Aug. 14, 1986. She had been married eight times before.

The Hungarian actress has been hospitalized repeatedly since last July, when she broke her hip in a fall from bed. Her right leg was amputated in January.
