Young and Restless?

It was a new role for Brian Jordan.

The Atlanta Braves outfielder became a temporary resident of the fictional town of Genoa City, the setting for the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless on Monday.

Before playing the Los Angeles Dodgers, Jordan starred as himself in a scene with Y&R actor Eric Braeden, who portrays the rich and powerful Victor Newman.

"It's always been one of Brian's dreams to be on the show," said Jordan's marketing agent, Jerry Davis. "He was really excited about it. After baseball season, we're hoping he'll be able to go back and pursue it more."
