Yes! Gmail Adds Drag-and-Drop File Attachments
I'm not sure, but if you listen very carefully, you can hear angels singing. Google just endowed Gmail with arguably its most long-overdue feature: drag-and-drop file attachments.
Since the dawn of Gmail time, you had to click Attach a file, then navigate through your folders to find the file(s) you wanted to include.
Now you can just drag one or more files from an Explorer window, the Desktop, or wherever to your Compose Mail window, and presto: Gmail queues them up for delivery. Just like Outlook.
Unfortunately, there's one little hitch: For now, this works only in Firefox 3.6 and Google Chrome. Internet Explorer users will have to wait.
