Women still lag behind men in pay, report says

March is Women's History Month, and now, a new report by the White House says that while women have made tremendous gains in the past 50 years, they still lag behind men when the paychecks are issued.

The White House report -- the first in 50 years -- that looks at the status of women in America. It shows areas where women have made tremendous gains over the years and areas where they have not.

According to the report, young women are now more likely than young men to have a college degree. But whatever their level of education, women earn about 75 cents for every dollar a man earns.
