Woman's torso, leg found at NYC waste transfer station
NEW YORK -- New York City police say a woman’s torso and leg have been found at a waste transfer station in the Bronx.
The grisly discovery was made early Tuesday at the Metropolitan Transfer Station in Hunts Point.
The remains have not yet been identified. A medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
The investigation is ongoing.
