Wirelessly Connect Your PC to an External Monitor

iogearwirelessvga1.jpgSometime this month, you'll be able to buy a cool gizmo that wirelessly ports your desktop at 720p quality to any VGA-enabled monitor within 30 feet. It consists of a wireless usb dongle that streams to a VGA adapter that plugs into the remote device.

For $230, the IOGEAR device is definitely not the cheapest solution for hooking your PC up to your TV or your laptop up to an external monitor at home, but it might be just the thing for powerpoint presentations at conferences that use either projectors or HD monitors. Sadly, as Gizmodo points out, it only works with Windows PCs.
