Why Hilary Duff is on Tinder

So you mean if we go on Tinder now, we could maybe score a date with Lizzie McGuire?

Yes, possibly.

Hilary Duff, 27, revealed this week that she recently joined the dating app and has started getting addicted to the whole swipe left/swipe right thing.

The "Younger" actress told 104.3's Valentine in the Morning radio show in Los Angeles that she and her friends were joking around and signed up -- but now she's talking to about nine guys on the app. So, it's not so much a joke anymore.

"In my life, I've always had really serious boyfriends, I've always met people through work and I've never been on a blind date. What's the worst that's going to happen?" Duff said Tuesday ahead of her first Tinder date.

"I have my first date tonight, and I'm really, really nervous," said Duff. "The whole process is really addicting."

Duff says she's looking for someone to make her laugh. Guys, beware though, she's not into your "shirtless selfies."

"I've never dated just a 'normie!'" Duff said.

Duff has dated plenty of non-"normies" in her life, most recently hockey player Mike Comrie. They were married from 2010-2014 and have one child together. Before that, she was attached to Joel Madden, along with Aaron Carter, who has not been shy about his lingering feelings for his ex.

Duff currently stars in the TV Land series "Younger" from "Sex and the City" creator Darren Star, which just got picked up for a second season. It also stars Sutton Foster, Debi Mazar, Miriam Shor and Nico Tortorella.
