PORTLAND, Ore. (CBS/KOIN) The FBI is offering its answer to the brain-teaser that has left many stumped since the 1980s - Where's Waldo?

The Bureau on Friday arrested an alleged robber who authorities dubbed the "Where's Waldo Bandit" because of his uncanny resemblance to the lean, rugby-striped wearing cartoon character.

Ryan M. Homsley, 29, was arrested at a Portland area hospital, according to authorities.

Homsley was identified as the only suspect in a Key Bank robbery that occurred last Tuesday in Tualatin, Ore., less than 20 miles outside of Portland.

Homsley allegedly entered the bank around 1:00 p.m. Tuesday carrying a small box when he approached a teller, demanded cash and threatened that he had an explosive device, according to CBS affiliate KOIN.

Just hours after the robbery took place Homsley apparently taunted authorities by posting status updates via the social networking site, Facebook.

"I'm doing this to pay for my medical expenses," reads a post on Homsley's Facebook profile.

According to KOIN, the suspect even changed his profile picture to the one captured on the bank's surveillance camera where he is seen donning a sweater with brown horizontal stripes and dark-framed glasses.

The FBI and Metro Explosives Disposal Unit immediately responded to the scene last Tuesday after receiving notification of an alleged bomb threat, and Tualatin Police evacuated nearby businesses. It was later determined the box was not a threat, reports KOIN.

Authorities have yet to reveal what was in the box or how much money the suspect left with.

The FBI said Homsley was at the hospital since Thursday and will soon be scheduled to make his first appearance before a federal judge.
