(CBS) Wedding fever has overtaken Scandinavia this week as Sweden prepares for the June 19 nuptials of Crown Princess Victoria 32, to her former personal trainer Daniel Westling.

Said to be costing $2.6 million, the wedding is being billed as the biggest bash n Europe since the1981 union of Britain's Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer. The guest list is under wraps, but the Swedish press is reporting that royalty from Norway, Denmark, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Great Britain and Greece are expected.

The ceremony will take place in the newly refurbished Stockholm Cathedral in Gamla Stan, the Old Town district of Stockholm.

Thousands of Swedes and visiting tourists are expected to line the streets to cheer as the bridal pair are driven by horse-drawn carriage through the city. A royal barge will take them across the picturesque harbor to the Royal Palace, where an evening banquet - complete with fireworks- is planned.

A member of the rock group ABBA, which performed "Dancing Queen" at the wedding of the princess' parents, has agreed to compose a special song for the occasion. Sweden's King Carl XVI Gustav married German-Brazilian Silvia Sommerlath June 19, 1976. They will be celebrating their 34th wedding anniversary on the day of their daughter's marriage.

The Yale-educated bride, who worked at the U.N. for a time, has been dating Westling for almost eight years. The owner of a string of gyms, the groom is not only a commoner, but something of a bumpkin, as he hails from a small village of fewer than 3,000 people. If reports in Swedish newspapers are accurate, he has undergone some intensive "grooming" to be ready to take his place at the altar.
