Wears For V-Day Or Any Day

During the Valentine's Day weekend, there will be a lot of folks wearing pink or red. But this year, many designers are passionate about love-struck looks all season long.

The Saturday Early Show's Megan Meany offered a look at a wide array of the latest pink, red, and floral fashions that will be "in" for the special day for lovers and beyond.

Meany demonstrated an array of clothes and accessories for men and women:

For Women:

  • Club Monaco Pink Leather, Cropped Jacket, $350
    Put away your black leather jacket and add a nice splash of color that won't be overwhelming. Meany says the leather jacket is perfect with slim jeans or skirt.
  • Ardenb Floral Print Vintage Dress, $138
    The sleeveless large, floral print vintage dress is another wear to wear floral. Meany says the floral print is not "country" at all. It's chic and fun.

Accessories for Women:

  • Vivre Cashmere Hat and Glove Set with Heart, hat - $45.60; gloves - $76
    Meany says the hat glove set is sophisticated yet often-whimsical approach to fashion knit accessories. Is is available in ivory with red heart, hot pink with red heart.
  • Coach Poppy Bags, tote - $458; wristlet - $98
    The Coach bag is a big hit with celebrities such as Demi Moore. The suede and leather floral patchwork design has a hippie flare, inside pockets, tassel accent and a ring to clip keys. Customers have an option to find the print in a big size or the small wristlet -- perfect to carry for a night out.

    Coach will donate 10 percent of the proceeds of "Poppys for Peace" for month of February to Peace Games, a nonprofit organization, which teaches kids to be peacemakers through problem solving games and skill building.

  • "Griffon" Sunglasses, $148
    Meany say if you love sunglasses, the "Griffon" sunglasses are the ones to get now. It has a pink frame and brown lens. It is available at Kate Spade stores.
  • Alexandani Lucite Earrings, $38
    The oval Lucite earrings were made in Italy, back in the '70s. They come in frosted and transparent Lucite.
  • Floral Pins
    This year, brooches, big and small, are everywhere, and they are being worn in different ways. At the Golden Globes, many celebrities wore elaborate floral pins in their hair. Pin brooches to your sweater, scarf, overcoat, hat or bag. Meany showed three samples of flora pins -- Alexandani Vintage Crystal Floral Pin, $78; Banana Republic Double Flower Pave Pin, $19.99; and Banana Republic Pink Single Pave Flower Brooch, $38.
  • Swarovski Crystal Watch, $39
    The Swarovski crystal studded watch has a croc-embossed leather band, base metal case and stainless steel back. The watch, which comes with a battery, never needs winding. It's available at Spiegel.com.
  • Pola Boots, $250
    Meany says forget Uggs. Nany celebrities, such as Jennifer Lopez, are now crazy for Polas -- another Australian brand boot. The boots come in hot pink, red, baby blue and sand. For information about the boots, email poladesignusa@aol.com
  • Carlos Santana Shoes Pink Strappy Sandal, $78.99
    Yes, the musician Carlos Santana has a shoe collection. He started his shoe company two years ago, and the proceeds go to the Malagro Foundation, which is an organization that provides funding to youth programs. Santana's cotton candy pink spring shoe with cut out design is similar to Jimmy Choo's shoes, but for a lot less money. Santana Shoes' sandal has an all leather body with a cushioned sole.

For Men:

J.Crew Nantucket Red Chinos, $60 and Striped Oxford, $60
Who says that only women can wear pink and red? Meany says these chic and preppy looks from J.Crew proves that this fashion trend can be worn by the man in your life. Chinos are cotton twill with a button fly and flat front with on-seam pockets.

For Babys:

Blume Personalized Baby-T in Pink, start at $24
Personalizing items is still very popular, and the Blume's baby-T is no exception. Meany says the pink and red colors are perfect for Valentine's Day, but it also can be worn throughout the year.
