Watch: Stephen Colbert and celebrity pals "Get Lucky"

Stephen Colbert staged a star-studded, dance-heavy performance (yes, Colbert got his dancing-groove on) of Daft Punk's "Get Lucky"-- even without Daft Punk.

The French electronic duo was slated to appear on "The Colbert Report" on Tuesday, but apparently had to back out at the last minute due to a scheduling conflict with MTV. "We booked Click and Clack over here about a month ago," Colbert said during Tuesday's show. "Apparently, Daft Punk are going to make a surprise appearance on the MTV Video Music Awards. Don't tell anyone, because fun fact: No one told me until two hours ago." So much for MTV's announcement.

Colbert didn't let the change get in his way, though; he danced "all night to the sun" to the tune of one of this summer's biggest hits with a little help from celebrity friends Bryan Cranston, Matt Damon, Jeff Bridges, Hugh Laurie and Jimmy Fallon. Even Nick Cannonand "America's Got Talent" judges get in the mix as Colbert makes his way across the stage.
