Watch: Police raid would-be gunman's college dorm
A helmet camera on a Florida police officer captures the tense dorm room raid that led to the discovery of the body of a former University of Central Florida student, guns, explosives and other evidence that he planned to carry out a campus attack.
The video shows several officers breaking into the dorm room of James Seevakumaran, 30, as flashing lights from a fire alarm go off. Police say they believe the former student - who was staying in campus housing although he was not enrolled for the Spring semester - turned on the fire alarm to get students in one place and carry out a shooting.

After using a key to get into the dorm room, police officers come across Seevakumaran's body. Police also found guns, ammunition, explosives and a note that detailed Seevakumaran's plans.
Police said the former student acted alone and committed suicide before he was able to cause any harm to others. A room mate had called 911 after Seevakumaran pointed a gun at him.
Chief Richard Beary showed the video during a press conference Tuesday. He also said investigators found unopened packages addressed to Seevakumaran at campus postal service which contained more equipment: A tactical sling, a shooting training video and more magazines.
Seevakumaran was described as a loner both by police and in a brief statement from his family released Tuesday.
"The family of James Oliver Seevakumaran states that James was a loner and did not have a history of violence. The family does not wish to make any further comments to the media and has requested privacy," said the statement.
A room mate also described Seevakumaran as anti-social in an interview with the school newspaper, but said nothing he did indicated he could potential be dangerous.
