Watch: Picasso painting vandalized at museum

(CBS News) Video of a suspect defacing a Picasso painting at a Houston museum was recently posted on YouTube.

The suspect can be seen walking calmly toward the painting called "Woman in a Red Armchair" and using spray paint to stencil a bull and the word "Conquista," which means conquer in Spanish.

It's not clear when the video was filmed or by whom. No charges have been filed yet, but an investigation in underway, CBS News Houston affiliate KHOU-TV reports.

A spokesperson from The Menil Collection, the museum where the 1932 artwork has been housed since 1956, says the painting has been taken down for repairs. The painting is believed to be salvageable.
