Watch: Emma Stone brought to tears over the Spice Girls

Emma Stone was reduced to tears while promoting "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" in Australia on Wednesday, but they were happy tears. Tears that had to do with the Spice Girls.

Apparently, Stone is a big fan of the '90s Girl Power group. And reacted as such when Australia 2Day FM's Merrick Watts and Sophie Monk played her a video message from Mel B, aka "Scary Spice."

"Oh my God, is Mel B talking to me? I'm going to cry. I'm so excited, I am legitimately crying," the 25-year-old star gushed. "I am the biggest Spice Girls fan ever."

"First of all, I want to say I absolutely adore you. I love you. And I want to say thank you for being such a Spice Girl fan," Mel B said in the message, before teasing Stone over a 2012 Entertainment Weekly interview in which she said she "wanted to be Baby Spice."

"Why did you like Baby Spice and not me more?" the singer said. "Your punishment for that is I want you to do a rendition of one of the Spice Girls songs."

Stone obliged, singing a few lines from the group's hit "Wannabe."

"The Amazing Spider-Man" opens in theaters on May 2. Watch Stone's Spice Girls superfan moment below:
