Watch: Embarrassing goalie mistake leads to easiest goal ever

(CBS) - Goalkeeper is a tough job. They don't get to look flashy on the field, they don't get to score goals (well, sometimes they do), and people shout for their heads anytime they screw up. That said, Enaut Zubikarai of Spanish club Real Sociedad deserves all the flack he's going to get for this goal-line blunder. Come on, Enaut. Don't let go of the ball when there's an opposing player right behind you. That's the first thing they teach you in goalie school.

The opposing player in question was Gonzalo Castro of Mallorca. His quick thinking and incredibly lucky positioning led to possibly the easiest goal you're likely to see on the soccer field. Real Sociedad got shellacked in this game, losing 6-1. In addition to the big "oops" in this video, Zubikarai's team gave up four goals in six minutes. For those of you who may not be soccer fans, that's a whole lot of goals in not a lot of time. But then, with goalkeeping like this, maybe it's not a surprise that Real Sociaded doesn't exactly have the toughest defense.
