Virginia Ann Homberg: Teacher Charged with Student Sex Jailed After Calling Another Student

DETROIT (CBS/AP) Former Detroit high school teacher Virginia Ann Homberg, who is charged with having sex with a student, has been jailed again after calling another student.

At a Friday hearing, a judge ruled that she violated an order not to have contact with students.

Prosecutors say in a release that Wayne County Circuit Judge Timothy Kenny increased Homberg's bond from $50,000 to $100,000 on Friday. She then was taken into custody.

Homberg faces trial for criminal sexual conduct and disseminating sexually explicit material to a minor.

She is accused of engaging in inappropriate conduct involving a student at Garden City High School including at the boy's home.
