Asked about Viacom's $8.5 billion in debt, Viacom (NYSE: VIA) President & CEO Philippe Dauman told attendees at the UBS Global Media and Communications (PDF) conference that the company is focused on organic growth and tended to avoid acquisitions for the past two years. The most notable one during that time was Harmonix, which brought the company the very successful Rock Band video game franchise. "We have plenty to do in-house, we don't have to look outside at this point," he said. More to come
