Tyrese Seeks Stolen Tracks

Tyrese Gibson is furious that unmixed tracks from his upcoming double album "Alter Ego" have been leaked on the Internet.
"These songs are not mixed or completed. As an artist I feel violated and disrespected," Gibson said in a statement.
The actor, singer and entrepreneur said that at least 17 potential songs on which he sings and raps were stolen from his Headquarter Entertainment offices.
Gibson isn't taking the theft lying down, though. "I have six engineers rotating in and out of my studio, and I am getting to the bottom of this," he said. "It's going to be handled my way."
There might not be enough time in the busy actor's day to track down a thief, though.
Gibson has been promoting his film "Waist Deep" with rapper The Game and Larenz Tate. The movie opens on June 23. Gibson stars as ex-con O2 in what's being dubbed as "an urban action thriller with a sexy 21st-century Bonnie and Clyde."
He's also filming scenes for the sci-fi adventure "Transformers" with Josh Duhamel and Bernie Mac. That film is due out in 2007.
Gibson's previous films include 2003's "2 Fast 2 Furious" and 2005's "Four Brothers." His 1998 debut album, "Tyrese," went platinum, and he scored a top 5 single on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in 2003 with "How You Gonna Act Like That."
