Two charged with fatal Philadelphia shooting of teen on bicycle

PHILADELPHIA -- Police have arrested two suspects, both 17, for the murder of a 16-year-old Philadelphia teen killed while riding a bicycle earlier this month.

Homicide investigators said both suspects have been charged with murder.

Saleem West, 16, was gunned down as he and a friend rode their bikes in the Strawberry Mansion section of Philadelphia on Nov. 1. There were 17 shots fired, the station reported, and West's friend was not seriously injured.

According to CBS Philly, the incident may be linked to a pattern of violence in the neighborhood.
