Turn One or More Wikipedia Pages Into a PDF

Say what you will about Wikipedia -- I think it's an excellent resource for marketers, researchers, salespeople, and anyone else needing to draw from the compendium of common knowledge.

Okay, but what if you want to pull together a number of Wikipedia entries for use in a report, presentation, or just offline reading? Sure, you could use some kind of print-to-PDF solution, but that'll get you just one entry at a time, not a batch of them.

Good news: The "new" Wikipedia (currently in beta) offers a book-building tool that lets you turn one or more Wikipedia entries into a custom PDF. Here's a 90-second video that walks you through the steps. (Make sure to view it full-screen.)

To try this tool for yourself, you'll need to sign into your Wikipedia account (or create one if you're not already signed up), then access the site's beta interface. Only then will you see the Create a book option in the sidebar, which is how you start the book-building process.

What do you think? Killer feature, no? Here's a sample of a finished product:
