(CBS News) Tupac's mother thinks the hologram of her late son performing with Snoop Dogg on the final night of the first weekend of Coachella was just as amazing and mind blowing as everyone else thinks it was.

A rep for Afeni Shakur told TMZ that she was "thrilled with Tupac's virtual performance,"according to the site.

While Afeni Shakur did not attend the live show, she did watch it live via the internet, reports TMZ.

Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg headlined the last night of Coachella together. The pair brought several guest stars on stage, where they were  joined by  the Tupac hologram.

Tupac gave a performance of "Hail Mary" and joined Snopp of "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted."

According to TMZ, Dr. Dre asked Afeni Shakur for approval to use a hologram of her late son. Dr. Dre also reportedly made a donation to The Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation.

A similar act is expected to happen this Sunday at the festival's first-ever second weekend, in which all the same acts will perform again to accommodate those who missed out the first time around.
