One of Mitt Romney's highest-profile backers - Donald Trump - will be recording robo-calls on behalf of Romney for every state.

Trump has previously recorded the messages in early primary states of Ohio and Michigan, but Trump spokesman Michael Cohen says that now, "citizens of all states should expect a phone call from Mr. Trump endorsing Mitt Romney."

Cohen would not say when the calls would begin, but said they would first be heard in forthcoming major primary states. Kansas, Alabama, Hawaii and MIssissippi all vote within the next week.

Trump endorsed Romney on February 2 in Las Vegas. At Romney's Super Tuesday celebration in Boston on Tuesday night, Ann Romney thanked him for his support of her husband's campaign.

"Mr. Trump has blitzed the radio airwaves and recorded calls for us in to various states - we appreciate everything he has done so far and has pledged to continue to do to help Mitt Romney get elected the next President of the United States," Trump spokeswoman Andrea Saul said.

The Romney campaign would not confirm the ads will run in every state.

The calls were first reported by ABC News.
