Tribeca Film Festival Jurors Named

Queen Noor of Jordan, "Bowling for Columbine" director Michael Moore and actresses Whoopi Goldberg and Candice Bergen are among the jurors at this year's Tribeca Film Festival.

The second annual festival starts Saturday and runs through May 11. It includes some 200 features, documentaries and shorts.

"The wide range of experience these jurors bring to the festival as filmmakers, actors, producers and directors gives them a broad and informed perspective from which to select the outstanding films of this festival season," Jane Rosenthal, Robert De Niro's Tribeca Films partner and festival co-founder, said Tuesday.

Queen Noor's book "Leap of Faith: Memoirs of an Unexpected Life" is on the New York Times bestseller list.

Also judging the films in competition are Oscar-winning documentarian Barbara Kopple; "Traffic" screenwriter Stephen Gaghan; fashion designer Miuccia Prada; Sheila Nevins, vice president of HBO and Cinemax; and Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter.

They'll choose the winners from among features by first- and second-time directors; documentaries by first- and second-time directors; documentaries by directors who've made more than two short films; and student shorts.
