Tot Who Vanished Without A Trace Found
A missing toddler who was profiled last month on The Early Show and the CBS primetime drama Without a Trace, has been found in Alabama and reunited with her mother, Asia Jackson.
Authorities say 18-month-old Anisa Jackson was abducted by her father in early November, from Upper Moreland Township, Pa. The FBI says the father, Philip Jerome Jackson, is in custody. Police say tips resulting from the broadcasts led them to the missing child.
Authorities had speculated that Philip Jackson might be staying with relatives in Alabama, Virginia, Maryland or Georgia.
Asia Jackson had said the last time she saw her daughter was when she showed up to get Anisa from Philip for a custody visitation, but Philip refused to turn Anisa over. Later that weekend, Philip disappeared, apparently taking Anisa with him. The FBI had already charged him with kidnapping and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution before Anisa was found.
Asia has been granted full custody of Anisa.
