(CBS) Now that the first weekend of the Toronto International Film Festival is over, who's leading the pack as an Oscar front-runner? According to the Los Angeles Times, no one.

The paper reports that "Friends with Kids," Jennifer Westfeldt's comedy and Lasse Halstrom's "Salmon Fishing in the Yemen" are so far getting attention, but neither of those light films is a clear Oscar contender.

The LA Times reports more serious films, such as David Cronenberg's "A Dangerous Method" and Sarah Polley's "Take This Waltz," starring Michelle Williams, Seth Rogen and Sarah Silverman, "have drawn more ambivalent responses from audiences and critics."

Films screening Monday include Ralph Fiennes "Coriolanus" and Todd Solondz's "Dark Horse," which also played in Venice.

The Toronto International Film Festival closes Sept. 18.
