Top 5 Insane Internal Sales Videos

It's Friday afternoon, so I'm posting five marketing-made music videos that feature mostly "internal" talent (i.e. sales and marketing folk) doing things that make you wonder: "what were they smokin'?"

This type of video typically gets played at sales meetings and customer events. However, in the YouTube era, the videos often go public, giving us all a chance to thank our lucky stars that we work elsewhere.

BTW, this is a contest, so be sure to VOTE for each video. The winner will be featured in a future post, along with a commentary.

This video is from an Israeli defense firm and was part of a campaign to sell missile technology in India. If you don't look closely, you won't notice that the set is decorated with rockets. Maybe it's just me, but isn't that kinda in bad taste?

However, it's good that whomever did the subtitling made certain to show the "Dinga Dinga Dee" part because that was clearly very important.

This video stars an actual sales person with a ton of moxie. I don't know whether this video is moving product, but I'd hire her for my team in a heartbeat. Note: to get to the music video, fast forward to the1:30 mark...

These people are having WAY more fun than marketing folk should be allowed to have. Note: the good part starts at 1:13! Check out the guy in the white shirt in the background trying to do something resembling a dance. Reminds me of the opening scenes of the movie The Jerk...
