Cash: $28 billion Apple has enough cash to bail out the state of Texas, which is currently facing a projected $27 billion budget deficit. Note: In the company's third quarter earning's report, Apple reported that it had more than $76 billion in cash reserves. The S&P figure, however, omits Apple's marketable securities and reflects only cash and cash equivalents.
