Toothless woman sought in Pa. bank heist
(CBS/AP) WAYNESBURG, Pa. - Police say a woman who robbed a southwestern Pennsylvania bank may not have had a gun and almost certainly didn't have any teeth.
Waynesburg police tell the Observer-Reporter newspaper of Washington, Pa. that surveillance video strongly suggests the woman who robbed the First National Bank about 5 p.m. on Friday has no teeth and wasn't wearing dentures at the time.
Police Chief Tim Hawfield tells the newspaper "her lower face appears to be collapsed on itself."
They say she claimed to have a gun when she handed a teller a note demanding money, but never actually flashed the weapon.
Police believe the toothless thief is about 50 years old and say she is short, no more than 5 feet 4 inches tall.
Waynesburg is about 40 miles south of Pittsburgh.
