Tom To Tag Along On Katie's Next Film
It seems that Tom Cruise wants to be in on the action when Katie Holmes goes back to work on a movie set.
His wife has signed on for the comedy "Mad Money," her first job since giving birth to baby Suri. According to the New York Post, filming will begin in Shreveport, La., in the next month or so.
One insider told the Post, "Tom has called producers and told them he will be on set every day … He wants to observe what's going on and will probably help Katie out."
The couple will likely bring their infant daughter along as well, the newspaper says.
The insider told the newspaper that Katie's agent chose this role for her because "it is a female buddy movie. There is no love interest and she wouldn't be kissing anyone or have a sex scene." Cruise was reportedly uncomfortable with Holmes' sex scene in last year's "Thank You for Smoking."Photos: Tom & Katie
The source described the "Mad Money" script as "atrocious."
A publicist for Cruise had no comment on the New York Post's story.
