The convenience store robber dubbed the "toilet-paper bandit" because of his penchant for squeezing the Charmin around his face pleaded guilty to attempted robbery charges.

Joshua F. Nelson, 29, was arrested nearly a month after he allegedly wrapped his head with toilet paper to rob a Lincoln convenience store on April 24. He was armed with a knife, but no one was hurt in the robbery, according to the Lincoln Journal Star.

Police say that crime scene investigators found a prescription pill bottle with Nelson's name on it near where the robber was said to have fled.  They also found a roll of coins and a knife, the paper reported.

Nelson pleaded guilty Wednesday in Lincoln County District Court after an agreement with prosecutors, who had lowered the charge and dismissed a weapons count.

Sentencing is set for Oct. 28. Nelson's "toilet paper caper" may seem comical, but he faces a maximum of 20 years in prison.
