"Tiny Town" Train Ride Accident Injures 15
More than a dozen people were being treated for minor to moderate injuries after a miniature train at an amusement park tipped over.
The accident happened Wednesday at Tiny Town, a kid-scaled replica of an Old West town in the foothills near Denver.
Dan Hatlestad of the Intercanyon Fire Department said the engine of the small, open-car train that runs through the miniature town tipped over first, and all five cars followed.
Nineteen people - from children to grandparents - were treated at the scene, and 15 of them ended up being taken to hospitals. Hatlestad said most of the injuries were bumps and bruises.
