This Week On Washington Unplugged

(CBS)

This week on "Washington Unplugged," Congressmen Bobby Rush (D-Ill.) and Chris Smith (R-N.J.) will debate the U.S.'s policy toward Cuba.

Rush has compared his visit with brothers Fidel and Raul Castro last week as part of a congressional delegation to meeting old family. Smith on the other hand condemned the trip and meeting with the brothers, saying he was "profoundly disappointed" members of Congress went to the country without visiting political prisoners or criticizing human rights abuses.

We will have both members of Congress debate the future U.S. relationship with Cuba on "Washington Unplugged" -- Friday at 2 p.m. on CBSnews.com.

Slate Magazine's Chief Political Correspondent John Dickerson will be sitting in for regular anchor Bob Schieffer. He will be joined by New York Times Washington Bureau Chief David Sanger and Heritage Foundation Senior Associate Fellow David Asher in a roundtable where they will discuss North Korea's decision to withdrawal from nuclear disarmament talks.

Finally, we will hear from Quinn Bradlee, the author of "A Different Life" and creator of social networking site friendsofquinn.com for children with learning disabilities. He will discuss growing up with a learning disorder as the son of famous parents, former Washington Post executive editor Ben Bradlee and journalist Sally Quinn.

Tune in every Friday at 2 p.m. at www.cbsnews.com/washingtonunplugged to check out new episodes of "Washington Unplugged," CBSNews.com's web-only broadcast, and send your questions to be asked during the show to washingtonunplugged@cbs.com.

Correction: Roundtable guest David Sanger is not the New York Times Washington Bureau chief. He is the Times' chief Washington correspondent. Also, David Asher is no longer at the Heritage foundation. He is also a former State Department official.
