Mostly Peaceful Protests
Police arrested nearly two dozen people in Ferguson during a fourth consecutive night of demonstrations marking the anniversary of the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown, but the presence of a militia-style group openly carrying assault weapons raised eyebrows.
Trump on the Issues
The controversial Republican debate didn't dent Donald Trump. A new Reuters poll shows Trump holding his lead at 24 percent. But on the issues, Trump has been short on specifics. CBS News' Major Garrett takes a look at the candidate's statements on immigration, ISIS and women's issues.
ATC Fatigue
A study the Federal Aviation Administration would not release for nearly four years exposes how air traffic controllers' work schedules would often lead to chronic fatigue. That would make them less alert and potentially increase the danger of the national air traffic system. In fact, the study found that nearly 2 in 10 controllers had committed significant errors in the previous year, while more than 6 in 10 indicated they had fallen asleep or experienced a lapse of attention while driving to or from midnight shifts.
Airport Renovations
There's a revolution underway at some of the nation's busiest airports, where designers are looking at new ways to make waiting less stressful and more enjoyable. Newly renovated passenger terminals feature well-lit areas with first rate food options -- all meant to entice travelers to feel more at home -- and spend more.
Infiltrating Internet's underworld
Many illicit online markets are invitation-only, which means a current member has to vouch for a new member. The best way to earn enough trust to get recommended is to purchase something illegal on a basic market. But just buying a product or service isn't enough.
