"The Voice": Coaches finalize their teams on final night of blind audtions
"The Voice" coaches put the finishing touches on their teams Tuesday during the final night of blind auditions.
Blake Shelton completed his team of 12 singers with the addition of Jacqui Sandell, from Oakland, N.J. The classically-trained ballerina-turned-tattooed singer performed Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams."
Adam Levine finished off his team with country singer Amber Carrington, who hails from Texas and sang "Good Girl" by Carrie Underwood. The Maroon 5 singer predicted Carrington would be the "biggest surprise of the show."
Shakira and Usher fought over Luke Edgemon, who has sung backup for Mary J. Blige and appeared on "Glee," after he sang Bonnie Raitt's "I Can't Make You Love Me."
"Your voice is phenomenal. You're probably thinking that Usher is a man, but I'm your girl," Shakira told him. He agreed, and became the final addition to Team Shakira.
That left Usher as the last coach to complete his team. The final spot on his roster went to Jessica Childress, who sang Bruno Mars' "Marry Me." Usher got the crowd to its feet before pushing his button at the last minute and welcoming her to Team Usher.
Next week, the battle rounds will begin.
