Top 10 office annoyancesIt's Friday and you probably don't need any encouragement to look forward to the weekend, but just in case you're having trouble getting excited for two days away from the office, a new study is out to remind you of everything that drives office workers to distraction during the week. Opinium research asked 1,836 workers what most annoyed them about cubicle life and compiled a top ten list of the biggest office annoyances. (HT to Consumerist for the link).

  • Grumpy or moody colleagues (37 percent)
  • Slow computers (36)
  • Small talk/gossip in the office (19)
  • The use of office jargon or management-speak (18)
  • People speaking loudly on the phone (18)
  • Too much health and safety in the work place (16)
  • Poor toilet etiquette (16)
  • People not turning up for meetings on time or at all (16)
  • People not tidying up after themselves in the kitchen (15)
  • Too cold/ cold air conditioning (15)
