"The Simpsons" move to the big screen from the small screen this week, and we see the result of Lindsay Lohan's pole-dancing training in "I Know Who Killed Me." Also, Prince has a new album.

"This Is England" is set in the summer of 1983 in Northern England. Twelve-year-old Shaun's father died in the Falklands War and he befriends a group of local skinheads.

If you liked "March of the Penguins," go see "Arctic Tale", which follows a walrus and a polar bear on their journey from adolescence to adulthood. The film is narrated by Queen Latifah.

America's favorite animated family comes to the big screen in the long-awaited "The Simpsons Movie", which hits theaters July 27.

"No Reservations" stars Catherine Zeta-Jones as a perfectionist New York City chef who meets her match with a new sous chef played by Aaron Eckhart. Meanwhile, her 9-year-old niece, played by Abigail Breslin, comes to live with her.

"I know Who Killed Me" stars Lindsay Lohan as a college student named Aubrey who is abducted and tortured by a serial killer. She escapes, but in the hospital she regains consciousness and says she isn't Aubrey, and that the real Aubrey is still in danger.

MUSIC

Prince, is releasing a new album, "Planet Earth. His Purpleness has already caused some controversy by giving away the CD with the British paper the Mail on Sunday.

Classic rock fans can pick up the new box set from The Doors. "Live in Boston '70" features songs like "Roadhouse Blues" and "Light My Fire" as well as lesser-known numbers.

Former Phish frontman Trey Anastasio has a new album, "The Horseshoe Curve".

Derren Brown doesn't pretend to be a psychic or a medium. Instead, this British entertainer bills himself as a mentalist and psychological illusionist who uses a mixture of suggestion, misdirection and showmanship to predict and control human behavior. His new show "Mind Control with Derren Brown," begins at 10 p.m. Thursday on the Sci Fi Channel.

"What the Window Washer Saw," is a unique new series that will profile a landmark skyscraper, providing a window on the power, ambition and accomplishment it represents. The series airs on VOOM HD Networks' Gallery HD at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

CNBC goes behind the counter for "Big Mac: Inside the McDonald's Empire" to find out what it takes to serve more than 52 million people daily. The program is reported by Carl Quintanilla, co-anchor of CNBC's "Squawk Box," and airs at 9 p.m. Wednesday.

DVD

"The Number 23" directed by Joel Schumacher stars Jim Carrey as a man driven mad by an obsession with the number.

Another thriller comes to DVD: "Zodiac", starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey Jr. The infamous Zodiac killer mocks and toys with detectives while paralyzing the San Francisco Bay area.

"Star Trek: Captains Log" features new interviews with the "Star Trek" captains and special episode introductions by all the captains, including William Shatner and Patrick Stewart.

BOOKS

"Psychic Children: Revealing the Intuitive Gifts and Hidden Abilities of Boys and Girls" by Sylvia Browne and Lindsay Harrison. The book is based on the idea that all children posses psychic abilities and some learn to develop them, while most do not.

"Secret Servant" by Daniel Silva is a thriller about this age of terror threats. One murder in Amsterdam goes unnoticed, but it sets off panic in intelligence circles.

"Thursday Next: First Among Sequels" by Jasper Fforde is another installment of the bestselling author's series about the fearless detective Thursday Next.
