From the heavy to the light, this week has a lot of different entertainment to satisfy your interests. Go see "Rescue Dawn" for historical thrills or tune into "The Bill Engvall Show" for laughs or pick up the new book "Devil's Labyrinth" to get really scared.

Oh, did we mention that the final Potter book, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," arrives on shelves?

MOVIES

"Rescue Dawn" stars Christian Bale as Dieter Dengler, a fighter pilot who was gunned down and captured during the Vietnam War. Dengler makes a dramatic break from his prison camp.

"Sunshine" is set 50 years in the future. The sun is burning out and humans are dying along with it. The last hope is a group of people who travel to the sun to try to save it. Along the way they find a ship that disappeared years ago.

This second film version of "Hairspray" stars John Travolta, Queen Latifah, Michelle Pfeiffer, Christopher Walken, Amanda Bynes, Allison Janney, Brittany Snow, Zac Efron and Elijah Kelley. It promises to be just as colorful and over-the-top as the original John Waters production.

"I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" looks at what happens when two straight guys pretend to be gay and get married for the perks. Starring Adam Sandler, Kevin James and Jessica Biel, the movie explores different definitions of family.

By day, Bill Pearson is a family counselor. At night he goes home to a family as chaotic as it is loving. Standup comic Bill Engvall stars in the new TBS sitcom conveniently titled "The Bill Engvall Show," which premieres Tuesday at 9 p.m.

A new Sundance Channel series, "It's Not Easy Being Green," follows a British family as they ditch their comfortable London digs for a rundown country farmhouse and a green, self-sufficient way of life. The show premieres Tuesday at 9 p.m., airs as part of Sundance Channel's The Green, a weekly program block devoted to environmental topics.

"Human Weapon" with hosts Jason Chambers (a champion martial artist) and Bill Duff (a former wrestler and pro football player) explores the history of hand-to-hand combat. It premiers Friday at 10 p.m. on the History Channel.

MUSIC

Country music legend Willie Nelson us out with a new live double-disc album, "Live at Billy Bob's." It has both a CD and a DVD.

"We Are The Night" by British dance music group The Chemical Brothers features songs like "No Path to Follow" and "All Rights Reversed."

"Good Will Hunting" star Minnie Driver is also a singer. She has a new album called "Seastories".

"After Hours" is Raul Malo's second album that will appeal to Patsy Cline fans.

If you like angst-filled indie music, check out "An End Has a Start" by the Editors.

BOOKS

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" or Harry Potter No. 7, is J. K. Rowling's final book in the hugely successful series. It is out just in time to coincide with the fifth movie. Hopefully some of the questions will be put to rest.

"Devil's Labyrinth" by John Saul is a frightening tale of a teenager who attends a Catholic school in Boston only to become involved with a priest who is too closely tied to his work against the devil.

"Inner Workings: Literary Essays 2000-2005" by South African author J. M. Coetzee is a collection of the award winning writer's essays on literature from Walt Whitman to Nadine Gordimer.

DVD

"Premonition" stars Sandra Bullock. She plays a woman whose husband has been killed in a car accident, only to wake up later and find him still alive. She must solve the mystery in order to save him.

"Factory Girl" is based on the story of Edie Sedgwick, played by Sienna Miller. It's a tale of eating disorders, drugs, art, rock 'n' roll and torrid affairs. The movie also stars Hayden Christensen, Jimmy Fallon and Mena Suvari.
