The power and beauty of an urban thunderstorm

(CBS) - The news of Hurricane Irene is giving a lot of folks on the East Coast a case of storm fever. But in all the commotion and talk of evacuations, it's important to remember one thing: storms can be dangerous, but they can also look awesome. This video, of a thunderstorm over Toronto last night, is a perfect case in point.

Jon Simonassi was the man behind the camera, and as he puts it, "A wild and intense Thunderstorm happened on August 24th in Toronto - so what else was I to do than take out my camera and shoot it."
