"The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" gets new trailer

The release of "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" is a little more than a month away, and there's now another new trailer to hold fans over until its Dec. 13 debut.

This new, three-minute-long clip was unveiled Monday as part of a fan event livestream that included a live Q&A with director Peter Jackson and cast members Orlando Bloom, Evangeline Lilly, Lee Pace and Luke Evans.
