Terry Glenn, Ex Dallas Cowboy, Arrested For Auto Theft

IRVING, Texas (CBS/TXA) Former Dallas Cowboy Terry Glenn was arrested for auto theft Tuesday afternoon.

According to a Dallas-Fort Worth Airport Police report, Glenn rented a 2009 Chevrolet Suburban from National Rent A Car in November of last year and hadn't returned the truck.

Glenn was released Tuesday night.

In all, the former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver has been arrested four times. The first was in 2001, after accusations of assaulting the mother of his then 5-year-old son. The second came in 2005, for public intoxication.

In January, 2009 Glenn was arrested for a third time at an Irving, Tex. hotel. There were reports he had been seen wandering naked through the hallways of the Extended Stay Deluxe Hotel near Highway 114. Glenn faced charges including public intoxication and possession of marijuana.

Glenn was a wide receiver for the Cowboys from 2003 to 2007 and was the leading receiver for the team in 2005 with 132 catches, almost 2,200 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Glenn's 12 year NFL career included stops with the New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers before playing for the Cowboys.
