Swift introduced the rapper, who had just been released from a halfway house, about midway through her performance of "Live Your Life," which was originally performed by Jay-Z, Kanye West and Rihanna. According to eyewitness reports, the Phillips Arena cheered enthusiastically as soon as T.I. took to the stage.

One attendee managed to film the surprise collaboration.

"Singing 'Live Your Life' with TI tonight was unreal. LOUDEST screams from the crowd, 14,000 people, hands in the air- welcome back @Tip!!" Swift tweeted after the show.

Swift has also brought Justin Bieber and Nikki Minaj onstage on different dates of her tour.
