Tap into a Library of Open-Source Text, Photos, and Music
Looking for photos, video, text, or music for a multimedia project, but don't have the budget to license anything? No worries: The Internet Archive has a library of free, open source, and Creative Commons content ready to be used.
The Internet Archive is home to a treasure trove of content. The Text Archive, for example, has over a million items, many of which use Creative Commons licenses. Likewise, you'll find hundreds of thousands of audio clips in the Audio Archive, including news programming, concerts, old-time radio shows, book and poetry readings, as well as original music uploaded by users.
If you're searching for content, don't forget that Google has just made it easy to find Creative Commons photos as well.
