Taliban Issued Statement in English About Peace Deal With Pakistan

(Taliban)
The U.S. is capitalizing on the peace deal between the Taliban and the government of Pakistan to try and destabilize Pakistan because it does not wish to see a Muslim state being a nuclear power, claimed a statement posted in English by the Taliban on its official website.

"The enemy is using this propaganda campaign to throw up Pakistan before Afghans as an invading force, so it can then invade Pakistan, as Pakistan is the only nuclear power in the Muslim world, and the kafirs (infidels) see this as a danger to their global hegemony, thus under this pretext America is trying to pave a way for it to destabilize Pakistan," said the statement.

The statement also made the common claim that the U.S. is being defeated in Afghanistan and urged the Pakistani government to act in the best interest of the country and the Pakistani people and not to serve America's foreign policies.
