SWAT called to actor Eddie Kaye Thomas' home after woman allegedly refused to leave, report says

(CBS) LOS ANGELES -  The Los Angeles Times reports that an unidentified woman was arrested Wednesday evening after allegedly refusing to leave the home of "American Pie" actor Eddie Kaye Thomas.

According to the Times, Los Angles Police Department Lt. Andrew Neiman said the woman spent the night at the actor's Hollywood Hills residence and refused to leave the next day.

Neiman reportedly said that the woman brandished a knife when asked to leave, and caused a stand-off with SWAT officers which lasted several hours. After reportedly firing tear gas and flash bang grenades into the home, the woman was taken into custody around 6:30 p.m.  

Police would not officially confirm that the home at which the incident occurred belonged to Thomas.

Authorities also told the Times that the woman destroyed property inside the home.
