Authorities in Allen, where the new charge was filed, would not release any details on the new accusation against Enrique Arochi, who was already facing aggravated kidnapping charges in the disappearance of Morris. The station reports the new charge is believed to be unrelated to the Morris investigation.

Morris, 23, of Forth Worth, was last seen in August 2014 with Arochi as the two walked to a Plano parking garage at The Shops at Legacy. She has never been found.

Arochi has been jailed since December in connection with Morris' disappearance. Plano Police say DNA evidence from the trunk of his car led them to charge him in that case. Detectives have said they believe Morris was in Arochi's vehicle when it left the parking garage, although Arochi denies it, reports the station.

Morris' mother, Jonni McElroy, who holds a nightly silent protest outside Arochi's Allen home, told the station she is sick to her stomach over the new charge against Arochi and it makes her wonder whether her daughter was sexually assaulted.
