Survivor Producer Goes To Court

Survivor producer Mark Burnett filed for a temporary restraining order Monday against a woman who allegedly sent him threatening e-mail.

The e-mail messages allegedly were sent by Dorann LaPerch to Burnett on June 29, according to the application.

LaPerch could not be located for comment.

Survivor Entertainment Group, the television show's production company, is also a plaintiff on the order.

"In these messages, the defendant threatened to 'twist the heads off' of Mr. Burnett, members of his family, and CBS executives' and members of their families," according to court documents.

No other details have been released on the contents of the e-mail messages or the apparent motive behind the alleged threats.
