"Survivor: Blood vs. Water" puts a plan into motion
The first "Survivor: Blood vs. Water" elimination of the season took place during Wednesday night's episode, while alliances have begun to form and a place has been put in motion. [Warning: Spoilers ahead.]
He never had a single vote cast against him, but Rupert was still the first person out of the game. He made the (seriously unwise) choice to take his wife's place on Redemption Island, and then lost the subsequent duel against Candice and Marissa. This marks the fourth time Rupert has tried to win the million-dollar prize on "Survivor," and lost.
Candice wins the challenge -- guiding 10 spools through a channel and stacking them on top of each other without the stack falling over -- and gets to give a clue regarding the whereabouts of the hidden immunity idol to any person from either tribe. She chooses her husband, John.
Colton wasn't pleased that everyone on the Galang tribe seemed to be getting along, so he tried to stir the pot by telling various players that others were targeting them, but they saw through his attempts to try and cause trouble. Meanwhile, Aras, Gervase, Monica, Tina, and Tyson formed an alliance.
Over at Tadhana, Vytas has come up with a plan. If they go to tribal council again, the group should target the loved one of a strong player on the other tribe. He thinks if they get rid of Rachel, then Tyson would switch with her and go to Redemption Island.
In this week's immunity challenge, three people from each tribe had to roll a fourth member in a barrel to different stations, where they retrieved a bag of balls that the remaining teammates then had to roll into holes on a slanted board.
Tadhana (the newbies) lose again, and at tribal council they put Vytas' plan to the test and vote out Rachel.
Will Tyson take the bait and take her place? We'll have to wait until next week to find out.
Tell us: Who do you think will win "Survivor: Blood vs. Water"?
